Cookie Policy
In plain English: We use essential cookies to make the website work, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site, and optional marketing cookies (Meta Pixel). You can manage analytics and marketing cookies at any time using the preferences panel below. Essential cookies cannot be turned off.
01 What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, your language preference, the items you have added to a service enquiry, or whether you have accepted the cookie notice.
Cookies do not give us access to your device or to any personal information beyond what you choose to share with us. We use cookies only for the purposes described in this policy.
There are different types of cookies:
- Session cookies exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies are set by Visask (visask.com) directly.
- Third-party cookies are set by other domains (such as Google or Meta) when their services are embedded on our pages.
02 Essential cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. Without them, the site would not work correctly.
03 Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the Visask website. This tells us which pages are viewed most, how long visitors spend on each page, and where they come from (for example, search, social media, or direct). All data collected by analytics cookies is aggregated and anonymised — it does not identify you personally.
We use this information to improve the website experience and to make content more useful. We do not use analytics data to contact you or pass it to third parties for advertising purposes.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also turn off analytics cookies using the preferences panel on this page.
04 Marketing cookies
We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) as a marketing tool to understand whether our advertising on those platforms is reaching people who go on to visit the site. This helps us avoid showing the same advertisements to people who have already visited us, and to measure the general effectiveness of our paid campaigns.
We do not use marketing cookies to build detailed personal profiles, and we do not share identifiable personal data from our service records with Meta.
You can turn off marketing cookies using the preferences panel below. You can also manage your ad preferences directly within Meta at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

05 WhatsApp and third-party integrations
The WhatsApp button on this website links to WhatsApp Business (wa.me). Clicking this link opens WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy. The link itself does not set a cookie on the Visask website.
If you initiate a conversation with us on WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp's platform and our Privacy Policy in respect of any information you share with us.
We do not embed third-party video players, social media feeds, or live chat widgets that would set additional third-party cookies beyond those listed in this policy. If this changes, we will update this page and notify users via the cookie consent banner.
06 Cookie retention periods
The retention periods for each cookie are shown in the tables above. As a summary:
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Language and consent cookies persist for 1 year so that you are not asked the same questions on every visit.
- Google Analytics cookies persist for up to 2 years. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's cookie store.
- Meta Pixel cookies persist for 90 days.
At the end of a cookie's retention period, it is deleted from your device by your browser. Where you have opted out of a cookie category, new cookies in that category will not be set, and any existing ones in that category will be cleared on your next visit.
07 How to manage cookies
You have three ways to manage the cookies we set:
1. Use the preferences panel on this page
The "Manage cookie preferences" panel in Section 4 above allows you to turn off analytics and marketing cookies. Your choices are saved and applied on your next and all subsequent visits. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.
2. Use your browser settings
All modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies. See Section 8 for links to browser-specific instructions.
3. Use third-party opt-out tools
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Meta: Meta ad preferences
- General: youronlinechoices.com — industry-wide opt-out tool
Disabling analytics or marketing cookies does not affect your ability to use Visask services. However, if you disable essential cookies via browser settings, some parts of the site (including checkout) may not function correctly.
08 Browser settings
To manage cookies at the browser level, follow the instructions for your browser:
On mobile devices, cookie management settings are typically found in Settings > Browser name > Privacy. Samsung Internet users can manage cookies under Settings > Privacy and Security > Sites and Cookie data.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new tools to the site, change service providers, or when guidance on cookie law is updated. We will:
- Post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
- Display a new cookie consent banner prompting you to review and re-confirm your preferences if we add a new cookie category.
- Not set new non-essential cookies without first obtaining your consent through the banner.
